Our Story

We Started Journey House
With One Goal:
Help others stay on the path of sobriety.

We know how difficult the journey of addiction can be. You not only affect yourself, but friends, family & loved ones. They all take this journey with you and it's difficult for everyone. You've already taken the most difficult step, identifying your problem and seeking treatment.

After the treatment phase ends, you must begin to get back into the routine of everyday life, and that can be difficult. Our goal at Journey House is to provide newly sober addicts / alcoholics with a clean living environment combined with a support network of positive people to keep your path of sobriety steady & focused.

Matt's
Story
Owner of Journey House

I’m Matt and I’m an addict.

After 10 years of abusing my body, my family, and everyone around me I am proud to call myself a recovering addict.

I have been in your shoes. My family has been in your shoes. I know first hand the struggle to break free from the the cycle of addiction. My life was the very definition of SELF WILL run riot. It took a lot of hurt, despair, and desperation for me to finally reach out for help and try another way of life.

When I finally “got it” I stopped trying to control the show, and started listening to positive people around me. In turn, I started working the 12 steps and my life got better. My mission is to provide a safe and sober environment for guys to grow and find their purpose in life.

Live in a safe, clean environment
on your sober living journey.

Live with a group of individuals who are on the same journey as you and surround yourself with positivity in a supportive, clean environment with people who care about your ultimate goal: sober living & self sufficiency.
